Make your own foot massage cream by melting some shea butter in a double boiler, add some peppermint oil and whip it up until it is soft and creamy. Exfoliate your feet in the shower using a pumice stone, dry them off and smother them with your cream and cover with socks while you sleep.

The festive season is all celebrations – family parties, work parties and more. This means you probably aren’t getting enough sleep which means dark circles. Longer, thicker lashes

Some of us are blessed with thick, long lashes, others need a little bit of help. Before you go to bed, moisturise your lashes with a mix of 1 tablespoon extra virgin coconut oil and 2 tablespoons castor oil, use a clean mascara wand and swipe the mixture onto your lashes. Voila, your lashes will be thicker by morning.

Strong, healthy nails

If your nails are a little brittle or you just want to soften your cuticles, try this magic mix. Melt 1 teaspoon of beeswax, add 1.5 teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil and mix together. Massage a small amount of the mixture into each cuticle for healthy cuticles and nails.

Treat your acne

There are so many chemical remedies for acne but if you are looking for something more natural, try this aloe vera and tea tree oil mixture. Aloe vera has so many healing properties to help with your skin issues. The aloe vera will help to repair your skin while you sleep, it has also been shown to lighten scars.

Reducing wrinkles

Did you know sleeping on a satin pillowcase can help you prevent breakages in your hair as well? It can also reduce the stress on your skin so you won’t wake up with sleep lines. Another way to help with wrinkles is to use rosehip seed oil on your skin. Make this mix of 3 tablespoons of organic pure rosehip oil with 5 drops of lavender oil and then massage it onto your face before you go to sleep.
